Seeking Optical Lens Fabrication Manufacturing and Tooling Engineer who can develop and implement manufacturing process plans for optics component manufacturing.
Ideal
Experience:
Optics fabrication or single point diamond turning specialization, with knowledge of optical freeform fabrication, slow tool and fast tool servo techniques and MagnetoRheological Finishing processes.
Use of advanced optical metrology, such as Computer Generated Holograms (CGH) or stitching interferometry for aspheric surface metrology, white light interferometry for non-contact surface profiling, or high precision contact profilometry.
Application of military and ISO optical specifications.
B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Materials Science, Optical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering or similar.
