Job Description
Directs all phases of R&D; efforts and programs from inception through completion for the System Security Engineering team within MST. The System Security Engineering team is focused on developing state of the art technologies for advanced security architectures capabilities. Key technologies in the research area are Firmware development, software development, hardware development. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for career development plans and individual growth of direct reports. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business and research areas or expands the product line with the customer. Key customers typically include DARPA, services labs (AFRL, ONR, NRL, ARL, etc.), DoD (Army, Navy, Air Force, etc.), and other government agencies. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules; identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Be responsible for leading all technical and programmatic activities for the Anti-Tamper Research Area for organic systems related to security.
Collaborate with the Anti-Tamper community and MST business development and market analysts support professionals in the creation and execution of a strategic plan for the Spectrum System Labs including: 1.The diffusion and strengthening of the SSE Vision for the Integrated, adaptive, and collaborative security architecture development. 2. Future System Security Engineering programs for integrated operations and joint operations 3.Advanced technologies in coordinated, adaptive, and networked security missions to support the warfighter 4.Specialized device development. 5. Specialized embedded processing techniques for various devices 6.The development of innovative technologies to bridge the gap between functional programs and security. 7.Mapping the path from today's AT missions to future integrated AT missions and how they tightly couple in an integrated approach to System Security Engineering programs.
Lead the development of proposals for and execution of internal and external research and development projects to support all Business Area's strategic plans.
Collaborate with adjacent Research Areas for the development of unique technical solutions for internal and external business developments, including proposals and Independent Research and Development Programs.
Participate as a member of the System Security Engineering management team in corporate-wide business development pursuits, contributing to bid/no-bid decisions and proposal leadership and development across business areas.
Provide oversight and ensure programs/projects meet financial, programmatic, and technical metrics and milestones

Basic Qualifications
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
3 years experience in System Security Engineering or related fields and technologies.
Strong Full Spectrum Leadership skills for energizing the team, building effective relationships within and out of the organization, delivering results, shape the future and implement a long term vision for spectrum technologies, model personal excellence through integrity and accountability.
Excellent team building ability/Team oriented and partnering.
Demonstrated ability to execute program strategy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. -Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

Prefer at least 8 years experience in System Security Engineering security systems, signal processing, or related fields and technologies.
Operational and Military experience with advanced security architectures, security systems, techniques, technologies, and capabilities
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technical/programmatic strategies for developing new technologies and capabilities
Familiarity DARPA and government R&D; and S&T; organizations.
Effective in delivering results and innovative concepts in a highly competitive environment.
Strong skills in developing customer intimacy and trust.
Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and work with both internal Lockheed Martin customers as well as external customers and navigate through the complexity of the DoD spectrum landscape and international spectrum regulations.
Proven track record of demonstrated leadership abilities
Experience in teaching others complex concepts/subjects
Excellent team building ability/Team oriented and partnering.
Demonstrated potential to lead a small sized organization of 12 personnel and run multi million dollar programs.
Demonstrate proven leadership ability to support SSE director in a transformative process of the SSE, applying creative solutions to meet commitments. This also includes retaining and developing talent to realign the SSE vision in order to meet the challenges of the System Security Engineering team of the future.
Experience managing direct reports.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
