Radar Systems Engineering within the Mission Systems Engineering Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a candidate to support the design, analysis, and requirements verification of legacy radar systems and high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The successful candidate will have strong analytic and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. Occasional travel may be required. The Radar Systems Engineer candidate will:
- Apply advanced data analysis principles and methodologies to develop innovative solutions for in-service and next generation radar systems - Develop, update, and maintain radar tracking and control models and simulations to support design and test efforts and assess system performance - Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters. - U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or equivalent - Proficiency in C++, Matlab, Python, or other programming language - Experience performing analysis of large data analysis, modelling & simulation, or functional knowledge of radar systems - U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain or maintain a DoD Secret level clearance. Desired Skills:
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or equivalent. - Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skills. - Experience with statistical methods, artificial intelligence, or modeling & simulation of physical systems. - Experience with engineering design and development. - Functional knowledge of radar tracking algorithms, and/or radar control algorithms.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
